Welcome to placeholder!

This is a space for discussions on everything games – whether board, video, or tabletop roleplay.

At its core, placeholder is a personal challenge to engage more closely with this hobby that I enjoy so much. Just like so many, I was instantly captivated by gaming growing up. It has helped me make some of my closest friends, onboarded me into welcoming local communities, and is responsible for some of my warmest memories. Now, I want to push myself to articulate those feelings and put those ideas on proverbial paper.

Let’s make one thing clear though; I am not a classically trained writer (I literally Googled how to use semicolons the right way before writing this). I will get it wrong sometimes. That said, I am eager to see how this experience will change my perspective on gaming, and overall, if it will change me.
